{"id":5400,"date":"2024-08-29T00:24:00","date_gmt":"2024-08-29T00:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/addnews.info\/?p=5400"},"modified":"2024-08-29T00:24:00","modified_gmt":"2024-08-29T00:24:00","slug":"americas-most-beloved-family-have-been-involved-in-a-fatal-plane-crash-on-route-to-a-concert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/addnews.info\/?p=5400","title":{"rendered":"America\u2019s most beloved family have been involved in a fatal plane crash on route to a concert."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The only remaining member of the group released a heartfelt statement about the deaths.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-3\"><\/div>\n<p>A plane carrying the Nelons, a well-known and loved gospel family in the United States, crashed and killed all on board.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-1\"><\/div>\n<p>Seven people died in the terrible accident, including Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, their daughter Amber, and Nathan Kistler, their son-in-law.<\/p>\n<p>Melanie Hodges, who worked for the family, and Larry Haynie, a pilot, and his wife Melissa also died.<\/p>\n<p>That person, Autumn Nelon Streetman, wasn\u2019t on the plane at that time.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14927\" src=\"https:\/\/tearsoffaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/6-34.webp\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>When their plane crashed over Wyoming, band members were on their way to Alaska to join the Gaither Homecoming Cruise.<\/p>\n<p>Someone said the plane crashed into the ground in flames, and firefighters and other emergency workers rushed to the scene as a wildfire broke out.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Wyoming sheriff\u2019s office, no one survived.<\/p>\n<div class=\"b-r b-r--middle_content\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-3\"><\/div>\n<p>In a statement about the tragedy, Autumn Nelon Streetman said, \u201cAs many of you know by now, my parents, Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, along with my sister Amber, brother-in-law Nathan, and our dear friends Melodi Hodges, Larry, and Melissa Haynie, were in a terrible plane crash on Friday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For the prayers that have already been said for me, my husband Jamie, our soon-to-be-born son, and Jason\u2019s parents, Dan and Linda Clark, thank you.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14926\" src=\"https:\/\/tearsoffaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/5-50.webp\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cYour prayers, love, and support will help us get through the next few days. Thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A video taken just before they got on the plane that was going to crash shows Jason talking to his family and the pilot on a Nebraska runway while smiling.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14925\" src=\"https:\/\/tearsoffaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/4-63.webp\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>FlightAware.com says the plane was a Pilatus PC-12\/47E owned by Haynie Enterprises.<\/p>\n<p>The accident will now be looked into by the National Transportation Safety Board.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, The Nelons were inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame.
