During his \u201cFriends &amp; Heroes\u201d Tour, Shelton visited the\u00a0<strong>Jimmy Everest Center at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine<\/strong>, where he performed a private bedside concert for\u00a0<strong>12-year-old Emily Harper<\/strong>, a terminally ill leukemia patient.<\/p>\n<p>Emily\u2019s only wish was to hear Shelton sing her favorite song,\u00a0<em>\u201cGod Gave Me You,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0live. Her family reached out to hospital staff, who coordinated with Shelton\u2019s team to make the dream come true. Shelton, who has a long history with the center, having donated $600,000 in 2016, didn\u2019t hesitate to help.
